"My wife, my kids, and I have been going here for years. Ever since the kids were small, we would see how many miles we could hike. I had the good fortune to own a place there for a long time, so we would go at odd times of the year. Usually, we would try and get there when it was less crowded and could hike on trails and not see anyone else the whole day. Both the Tennessee and North Carolina sides of the park are worth a look. They are pretty different from each other."
